I've set PDW Interface Setup to Sound card, Custom, Sample rate 44100, and Soundcard to Cable Output. Windows Device Manager says VB Cable is working properly for input and output in the Audio Input and Output section and in the Sound, Video, and Game Controllers section. ![]() Step 5: Record audio using Virtual audio cable. Or you can simply click on the Speaker icon given in the Taskbar of Windows in the right side and select the CABLE INPUT (VB-Audio Virtual Cable). I've also installed and configured VB Audio Virtual Cable and configured it correctly in Windows Sound Setup, and in Windows Control Panel Audio devices as the default audio device. Click on the Playback tab, right-click on the Cable Input and select Set as Default Device option. I've installed PDW v3.1 on all three of my computers running Windows 10 Pro to try and get it to work.
